Shortly after visiting the beloved Beach, Isaiah broke out in a lovely rash all over his arms, back, torso and face. After a visit to good ol' Dr. Benton it was confirmed as Fifth Disease. He'll be fine!

Then earlier this week the boys had a little mishap with a toy gun (left by another kid at the chiro's office) at the chiro's office. Isaiah accidently spun around right as Michael was spinning too and WHACK, right in Michael's eye.
This was that night. It's more black now, all underneath.

And finally. We're surrounded by fires! There's been one burning for about 3 weeks now 133miles north of us in Georgia. We've been getting the occasional smoke from that due to lovely northern winds. Then just a few days ago another big one broke out about 20-30mins from us and yesterday was absolutely unbearable! Our whole house smelled like smoke and it was disgusting outside. Raining ash and all! But lo and behold we also had our first Tropical Storm form for the year. We anticipated lots of rain and got a brief shower that didn't do squat! The TS has since fallen apart and is long gone! So no relief from the fires! Here's what it looked like yesterday afternoon outside our house:

Can we say YUCK!!!
Anyways...on to some bittersweet good news. Our little baby Michael will be 2 in a month! Where on Earth has the time gone?! Here's a sneak-peak of his Bday Invite that I made and design on our computer!

Ok, well, that's it for now! I think! I need to go wrestle down some monsters, distribute snacks and figure out something for them to have for dinner. Mommy is thinking it'll be a Spaghettio night! EASY!
